Until The End: A Kurama x Reader story. Part One.
Rating: T
Story is rated for Mild violence and overall depressing theme.
You sighed softly as you poked at your plate of food. Sitting across from you was some man you had not ever met or bothered to learn his name. You would smile and nod every now and then as he spoke, being polite but not really listening to what he was saying. In truth, you were not even interested in the man before you. But you had resigned to going out with him after your best friend went out of his way to set you up on this blind date.
“(Name), are you alright?” His soft voice spoke as he reached out and touched your hand. You blinked slightly, casting a momentary glance to where your hand had been.
“Yes I am.” Your voice was soft as you looked up, concerned green eyes meeting yours. You winced slightly as you looked away, trying your best to conceal the look of pain that you knew donned your face.
“Look,” He sighed, moving his hand from yours to favor running through his raven locks. “I can tell that you are not interest in me, or being here for that matter-”
“It’s not that-” you started to protest, your eyes widening as you looked back at him. He just raised his hand, a small smile on his face.
“It’s okay, I don’t need an explanation. I just wanted to say, whatever your problem is, it will be okay.” He reached out again, cupping your hand softly within his own. “ I know that look (Name). I’ve had that look before.”
You staired at him for a moment, feeling guilty. He just smiled brightly and squeezed your hand, leaning over the table, resting his elbows against the cool surface.
“ About a four years ago I lost someone very dear to me. At the time, I never thought that my heart would heal; that I would every be able to love someone ever again. I began drinking heavily, withdrew from everyone and everything. But as time passed I began to understand that she wouldn’t want me to live my life like that. She wouldn’t have wanted me to give up. Sometimes the hardest part isn't letting go but rather learning to start over.”
By now your eyes had grown widder and you could feel the warmness you your tears running down your cheeks. When you opened your mouth to speak, only a broken sob left your lips. You quickly covered your face with your free hand, trying your best to conceal your pain. It wasn’t until you felt something warm wrapping around your shoulders that you turned; wrapping your arms around the man that had offered you the comfort you needed.
Two hours later....
You had felt better after you had let all of your tears go. Albeit, you were embarrassed, but it had felt like the world had been lifted from your shoulders. You leaned gingerly against the railing of the dock that had overlooked a river. The man stood next to you, his eyes cast upon the blue hues of the water. You looked at him only for a moment before letting out a deep breath.
“You have the same color eyes.” You spoke so softly and for a moment you weren’t sure if he had even heard you.
“Hmm...Really?” You just smiled slightly as you continued.
“ We were 8 years old when we met. You see, I have always been a very shy and quiet person and kids would always take advantage of that. They would bully me, spit on me. I even had kids throw rocks at me and chase me down the street. And my home life wasn’t much better. My mother and father were rarely physically abusive, but they knew how to use there words and other actions as weapons. I had an older sister who took care of the physical stuff....” You trailed off slightly, lost in the memories of the past. It wasn’t until you felt eyes on the side of your face that you were drawn back to reality. You looked over only to meet his eyes for a moment before looking away, a light red tinging your cheeks.
“Anyway,” You cleared your throat slightly before continuing on. “We had decided that we were going to run away together. He loved his mother and his family, but she had moved on and re-married a nice man and even adopted his son. He knew that his mother would understand and that, for him at least, this wasn’t going to be a forever goodbye. Everything went as planned. He came to get me late in the evening after everyone in my house had gone to sleep. It had been storming that night. It was the first real storm we had seen all that summer. In the end the car ended up veering off the road right outside of town and the car flipped. I don’t remember much after that besides waking up in the hospital. He had survived the crash as well, but lost all of his memories in the meantime. We were (age) at the time....” Your eyes began to mist slightly; you hoped that went unnoticed.
“That was (years) ago now, and he never regained his memories.”
“So, you’ve been alone all this time?” You just nodded your head slightly. His head hung ever so slightly, his green eyes looking as sad as you felt.
“ He’s moved on now, and from what I’ve heard he is even engaged to a new woman..” your hands clasped together as you twisted a small sliver band on your left ring finger.
“ You know, I ment to ask you about that.” He hummed softly as he placed his slightly cooler hands over yours. You let out a hollow laugh.
“ It was the promise ring he gave me right before we left that night. That we would always be together, until the end of time” You scoffed slightly. “ But those are just fairy tales. And this is the real world. True love, a prince in shining armor coming to whisk the beautiful maiden away on a golden haired steed? That’s all just a bunch of crap that is force fed to us as kids to make us believe that the world is a great place. Its bullshit.” You shook your head almost violently as you slipped your hands from his and pulled the ring from your finger. You pulled your hand back but was stopped abruptly.
“Don’t do that, please?” His voice held some sympathy as he looked into you pain stricken (color)ed eyes. You just sighed out a long breath before lowering your arm. What happened next shocked even you.
“Here,” You whispered as you opened his hand, slipping the ring safely inside his palm, before curling his fingers around the smallish band. “ I don’t want it any more. All it causes is more pain; a reminder of what I have lost.” With that, and a soft smile, you let go. You turned on your heel and began to walk away, leaving a very shocked man standing behind you.
And as you left, a whisper fell on deaf ears.
“Never close the door (name)...You never know what or who may be waiting on the other side of that door for you.”
Once you made your way back home and made it to the safety of your room did you allow yourself the release of crying for the second time that day. Even though your heart had felt lighter than it had at the beginning of the day, your mind had still been burdened with the thoughts and memories of all that you had and all that was now gone.
“ You know you’re really ugly when you cry.” Your eyes cast a weary glance at the now open door of your room. (color) eyes meeting the steely blue of your sisters. “ No wonder you are going to die alone.” She snorted and began to laugh.
“ Why don’t you go fuck a pig?” You grunted back, rolling over on your side. You grunted in pain as you were torn back by your (length, color) hair, falling to the floor with a thug.Your sister lifted you up slightly , her fingernails digging slightly into the base of your scalp.
“ What did you say to me?” Although she smiled, you could tell by the fire in her eyes and the way her teeth gritted together that you were in trouble.
“I said go fuc-” You cried out as she kicked you hard, causing you to gasp for whatever bit of breath you could get.
“I’ll ask you again (name),” Her grip tightened as she pulled your head back your eyes once again meeting hers. “ What did you say to me?”
“ N-Nothing...” you groaned out. With another swift kick she dropped you. Laughing she made her way from your room, slamming the door behind her. You coughed and cried silently as you whipped the blood from the corners of your mouth. Your forehead rested against the plush ( color)ed carpet as small drops of blood feel from the corners of your lips.

Wedding Kurama X Reader
I don't own YYH!
"This is the best day of my life!" You thought as you stared at your future husband in your (favorite color) Wedding gown. You had everyone close to you and him there for an outdoor wedding in the forest near a crystal clear lake shining from the sun in a fall wedding.
Your father had walked you through the aisle with everyone smiling at you then in front of you the most beautiful man with emerald eyes waiting for you to finally be one forever.
Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of these witnesses, to join Shuichi Minamino and (Full name) in matrimony, which is commended to be honorabl

Children Of The Minamino - Kurama x Reader
"Kurama, Shiori called."
Kurama looked up from his book. "What did my mother say?"
"She said she's coming tomorrow. She wants to see her 'lovely grandsons' at least once before Christmas."
Kurama smiled. "Alright then. Did she say how long she would reside here?"
You shook your head. "Just in case, I'll prepare another bed."
"By the way, Kurama."
He returned your gaze.
"Did we ever ask the boys what they wanted this year?"
Kurama stayed silent.
"I don't recall any time that I did."
"Hmm."
"Maybe I'll ask them, so when Shiori comes, we can go shopping for them."
"Sounds like a good idea."
A small smile graces your face. "I'll be b

[YYH] First Kiss [Kurama x Reader]
Kurama and you had your first 'inofficial' first date. Well, orginally the redheads intention was simply to relax after the draining missions Koenma had pested you lately. He thought it would be nice to have some time together and rest a bit.
Not that you would mind having time with Kurama, but admittedly you were a bit surprised when he called your phone last night – despite the fact you never give him your number.
[Flashback]
An exhausted sigh left your lips. Some low-class demons caused you some painful bruises. Not that you are too weak, they just waited to catch you off guard. The bruises burnt, not even a hot showe
